♥ Prayer is a Way of Living
And, prayer is always life changing, for everyone involved! Conversation with the Lord God is truly an incredible thing. We can develop a passion for prayer that will strengthen us, give us peace, and bring us joy–anywhere, anytime, any way.
♥ The Miracle of Prayer
God created prayer, and He created us to pray! Prayers are personal and unique. No two conversations are alike, right? How do we talk with God, to ask Him, thank Him, love Him, and listen to Him in prayer? Here, we post ideas, articles, verses, quotes, and resources for inspiration.
♥ The Privilege of Prayer
What a privilege that we can go to God and communicate with Him in different ways. By His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ opened the way for us to come before the Lord God as His daughters, and for the Holy Spirit to live within us as our Counselor. This is by faith and through prayer, in Jesus' name.
We can encourage each other To truly know God, to love Him and To be with Him in prayer.
♥ Our God Who Hears, and Speaks
Whatever the situation–quiet moments of rest, exciting events, private time with someone we love, seasons of sadness or struggle–when we pray, the Lord is there to listen. And to speak. He knows us and loves us so intimately.
We hear and understand God through the Holy Spirit and the Bible, an incredible love story! One profound way to pray is to speak verses to yourself or to others.
♥ Inspiration for the Journey
Jesus, teach us to pray and to remember that "Prayer does not fit us for the greater work; prayer is the greater work," as Oswald Chambers wrote. We love to read the words and take in the images that describe the incredible blessings, experiences, and necessity of prayer. Do you have something to share?
If I really wanted to pray I’ll tell you what I’d do. I’d go out into a great big field alone or into the deep, deep woods, and I’d look up into the sky–up–up– up–into that lovely blue sky that looks like there’s no end to its blueness And then I’d just feel a prayer. ~L.M. Montgomery
What wings are to a bird, and sails to a ship, so is prayer to the soul. ~Corrie ten Boom
