Three Questions You’ll Never Forget

In the last post I promised I would share these questions that have been such comfort to me, an antidote to fear, depression, doubt, anxiety, and whatever else threatens to take away our peace. They can be found on the Open Arms Internet Ministry website (www.oaim.org) and in the book BIBLE Counseling by Doug Mallett and Debra Read (which I have not read.) I think the questions will speak for themselves, and I quote them here, directly from OAIM:

“The first question is, Do you really believe that God is all-powerful and can do absolutely anything He chooses to do?”

“The second question is, Do you really believe that God is all-knowing and is aware of every little detail of our situation, our feelings, our past, present and future?”

“The third question is, Do you really believe that God is all-loving and loves you as you are right now, without you having to change one little thing, and that because of this love, He will always do what is for your ultimate best?”

These questions make great topics for journaling, prayers for self or others, or questions to ask someone you care about who is struggling.
